Be safe this Independence Day weekend and attend Culver City's fireworks show—don’t host your own!

The Culver City Police and Fire Departments would like to remind residents and visitors that the sale and possession of all fireworks is illegal in Culver City, that includes the “safe and sane” fireworks. All violators may be subject to fines and arrest if caught displaying or in possession of fireworks. The risk of injury, especially to children and young adults, is of great concern to the Police and Fire Departments.

Have questions or wish to report illegal fireworks? Please contact the Culver City Police Department at (310) 253-6208.

Celebrate Independence Day on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at West Los Angeles College where the Exchange Club of Culver City will present its 52nd annual Independence Day Family Picnic and Fireworks Extravaganza. Gates will open at 3:30 PM.  For more information about food, music, sponsors, and admission cost, visit the Exchange Club’s website
